It’s always a good day when UKF Drum & Bass uploads a track, especially when it happens to be from Noisia. The Dutch trio concocted a stellar remix of Black Sun Empire‘s track “Arrakis” that will be featured on BSE’s upcoming album Variations On Black.
The remix and the original start the same way, which really induces the whole eerie vibe that is subsequently expressed through the hollow ideophonic melody. After a tension filled build you are hit with a mild dose of DnB madness for a few measures before being swept off your feet and taken on the musical ride you were waiting for; there’s so much energy in this one it’s insane! The basslines and atmospheres they produced are quite amazing and overall I like the hint of liquid influence. Make sure to grab this tune when it is released on November 4th on Black Sun Empire’s new album!
