With a year full of controversy, the day has finally come for the top 100 DJs to be announced. We here at Your EDM will be bringing you the live updates of the list. Even though not everyone may agree with the poll, we here at Your EDM try to think of it less of a popularity contest, and more of a reflection of the popular trends in the industry and an acknowledgment of hardworking DJ’s regardless of poll position
Earlier DJ Mag France announced via Facebook that they will be announcing the list, 20 DJs at a time every hour and the official DJ Mag twitter will be doing live tweet countdown. We will have all of that here. As well as the live stream below.

Diplo should be top 25. In terms of DJ ability, music and live shows he’s fucking incredible. Mat Zo should WAY higher than where he’s at. Porter Robinson is top 15 easily, I’d even say top 10. Martin Garrix isn’t bad by any means, but to say that he’s above some of these other guys is a bit ridiculous. The kid has one hit track, yet he’s ahead of Benny, Stafford, Mat Zo, Porter, Carl Cox, Gareth Emery and even Madeon.

And i’m sure all of you remember from your High School days how some popular people can sometimes be the most dumbest vile humans alive. DJ MAG didn’t look at profit or ratings from peer dj’s or Festival plays or anything else besides asking random people (Who do you like?)
Campaigning for votes should be prohibited! Of course Hardwell got #1, “Vote for me” “Don’t forget to vote for me!” “Remember, vote for me!” “Hey everyone, 1, 2, tree, don’t forget to vote for me!”

Afrojoke over anyone is a disgrace. I’m not a big Calvin Harris fan, but the guy broke the record for most number 1 singles on an album and did $46 million last year. Something is very wrong here.
