There is always something special about an artist coming back to perform in his or her hometown, and on October 12, 2013 Ryan Raddon, better known as Kaskade, had the chance to bring his Atmosphere Tour to his home city of Chicago. Kaskade‘s Twitter followers already knew ahead of time that the third stop on his tour, with the caption Big Rooms; Small Tour, was going to be an exceptional one.
But what the sold out crowd didn’t know was that Lights would make a guest appearance to sing live the chill-inducing song, No One Knows Who We Are.
“When I come out it’s intended to heighten that spirit of ‘let’s all sing along together.’ And that’s exactly what happened.”
Kaskade decided to include live singing in his tour in order to make the “big room” a more intimate and personal space for the crowd, for them to better connect to his music by singing in unison with Lights to the moving lyrics.
He is truly one of those artists there to put on the best possible show for his fans, and as his Twitter indicates, his hometown of Chicago will always hold a very special place in his heart.
We’re excited to see what the rest of his Atmosphere Tour has in store!
