Saving the Music, One Bid at a Time

We are all probably well aware at this point that as funds for public schools are being cut, so too are extracurricular programs such as music and art. However, these programs are essential in providing a well-rounded education. Learning to play an instrument, for example, is believed to develop not only a child’s musical talent, but also assist them in their academic endeavors.

To help keep music programs in public schools, world renowned electronic dance music DJs are collaborating with VH1’s Save the Music Foundation by auctioning off CDJ-2000 Nexuses. Save the Music Foundation is  “a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring music programs in America’s public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child’s complete education.”

It is not surprising that artists such as Kaskade, Zedd, Dada Life, Manufactured Superstars, Cosmic Gate, Morgan Page, and more were eager to help with Save the Music Foundation‘s mission.

Check out the auction and make your bid here!
