After hitting 900,000 fans on Facebook, Ferry Corsten would like to celebrate this occasion by offering his fans a free download of Midsummer Rain, released almost 9 years ago.
It was originally released in 2004 and was included in his Infinite Euphoria mix, under the pseudonym 4×4. It’s a previously unheard version, coming in at a very generous 10 minutes.
As this was released before the big EDM boom and before the birth of social media as we know it, the track contains little mainstream qualities that plague producers today and contains many soft and haunting melodies. The melodies still sound so good that they may make you nostalgic for those rather simpler times.
