Fractal – Duality [Monstercat]

fractal duality

It’s a great day for bassheads everywhere as Fractal is back with a fresh new drumstep tune on Monstercat! This one uses lots of chopped vocals and tight drums to lull you into a dreamlike soundscape right before smacking you in the face with a monstrous drop packed with gut-wrenching basslines and simple, but effectively implemented synths. One thing that always impresses me about Fractal‘s productions is how many different genres he draws his influences from. Trance, electro, progressive, dubstep, and drum’n’bass are all there if you listen closely; I’m always blown away by Fractal‘s ability to blend so many influences so seamlessly into one cohesive musical journey. Another facet of Fractal‘s productions that really impresses me is how his incredibly filthy basslines never drown out the more melodic elements of the track, which is something that a lot of other producers in the bass music scene have some serious trouble with. Well, what’re waiting for? Go grab this track on Beatport right now because it is one seriously epic piece of art!
