The electro/progressive house master Deadmau5 is taking a different approach with his newest track shotty vs. Mau5. In his new ‘web-series’ coffee run last week featuring Zedd, Deadmau5 said that he was bringing in a hip-hop artist from England. Little did we know that the track was going to be previewed this soon. But Joel decided to grace us with a preview of the new track, which has subtle electro beats in the background reminiscent of a hip-hop producer, not the Deadmau5 we’re used to. A few weeks ago Deadmau5 said that producers in EDM aren’t taking enough risks. So maybe this is Joel’s personal way of making a change. Check out the preview below!

Well Deadmau5 is no stranger to Hip Hop with his work with Cypress Hill lol
He did talk about this in the coffee run with zedd, that he was working with a British rapper.
Ehhh not really a fan of this particular track so far, hope he amps it up a bit.
