Nicky Romero recently collaborated with plug in developers Cableguys to release a new sidechain compression plug in. Available for both Mac and PC and advertised as working in all VSTs, Kickstart “has a big Mix control, 16 hand-crafted modulation curves, a precise oscilloscope, and can run synced or retriggered via MIDI”. Kickstart is apparently used by David Guetta, Alesso, Afrojack, Madeon and Knife Party to name a few. If you’re interested in getting it you can actually get a demo copy and then buy for $15 here: Kickstart
I’m getting kind of tired of seeing DJs selling out…
Yeah, the Software “Massive” from Native Instrument don’t do exactly the same things since 4 years ago Sureeeee……
I wouldn’t be so critical, it is a nice plug-in if you want some quick compression, I wouldn’t be expecting anything more from it.
it’s really nice and not complicated to use and does some pretty powerful stuff, regardless of who’s name is on it

Looks easy enough to use for people that doesn’t want to spare time doing the same with their native DAW tools.
