With the fall season creeping across our northern hemisphere it’s important to remember exactly what this means. Summer is not dead, and in Australia, Stereosonic is just around the corner! Anticipation for the multi-weekend event is already at record highs, so thanks to everyone at Stereosonic and 99designs for building on that apprehension. In conjunction, the two companies announced the final 8 designs for this years Stereosonic Festival T-shirt Contest. 
These 8 finalists are recognized for their top rated designs amongst 3500+ submissions, and are now competing for a number prizes. Stereosonic will choose the top two designs next week, awarding the artists with $1500, and selling their shirts throughout the festival in November and December. A third, “People’s Choice“, design will garner a $500 award, is dependent on your vote, and will also be available for purchase at the festival.
To put everything in perspective, 99designs is an online market place for graphic designers, as well as anyone looking for graphic design work or consultation. By concentrating the quality of graphic artists, 99designs has held thousands of competitive and highly successful t-shirt contests. This year’s Stereosonic contest though, is officially the largest competition since the companies inception in 2008.
