Ahead of the highly awaited genre blending, mixing and shaking release of True, the Swedish star Avicii decided to remix his very own hit Wake Me Up. This newly created version, titled Wake Me Up (Avicii Speed Remix), attempts to develop a slightly more clubby feel to the track. While the preview is short, it does introduce some elements that were not present on the original, mainly with the stronger and deeper kicks, focusing more on the four on the floor rhythmic beat than the original did. I love that he’s bringing a unique sound to EDM, I personally love Avicii & his music. “Wake Me Up” happens to be a new favorite of mine (sorrynotsorry) and I’m not a country fan. but he’s developing new sounds & mashups, as compared to the same repetitive sounds/songs now.

Only guys like Avicii and David Guetta can “change the EDM scene” as everyone keeps saying. They’re the big thing and the average population will follow them. I think Avicii is going down the right road. He hasn’t released a single “jump style/progressive/chattahoochee” bullshit song and i thing it is remarkable for someone everyone call a sellout.
But the music is already a different track from Avicii . He made this for burn & Lotus F1 Team and the song called “Speed”.
