Recently it has come to light that Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg attended one day of the well known festival of Burning Man. It was reported that last year Zuckerberg was convinced by co-founder Dustin Moskovitz to come experience the beauty of the playa. Moskovitz said:
I wanted him to experience the city and to experience gifting because I thought it would make him grow as a person and the world better off as a result; I believe that’s exactly what happened, however marginally (he was already a pretty great person). I’ve seen this occur countless times.
Its was reported that Zuckerberg flew in via helicopter, helped pitch Moskovitz’ famed Shady Waffle camp and gave out grilled cheese sandwiches.
What we can see from this news shows the beauty of Burning Man that everyone is equal, and stature doesn’t matter.
Check out a day in the life of Burning Man
‘Everyone is equal, except you fuckers have to wait in line while I fly in my helicopter’ lmao!
Woahhhhhh……..this truly adds on to my happiness. I really have no words to describe what I just read.
Been to Burning man and its one of the most surreal places, a whole city built in a month for one week of art, expression, music, sharing, caring! I plan to visit in 2015 again but if I see a Facebook camp I’m going to burn it down on the last day!
