In an unusual twist of fate, David Guetta was faced with some unexpected turmoil on the tarmac today. As his plane was going to take off to whisk him away to Creamfields in the United Kingdom, it caught fire! David Guetta and his team were not injured in the blaze, but his set time at Creamfields needed to be rescheduled. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will be performing at 9:45 this evening with David Guetta to follow.

Nice of him to show up and do half (a third) of the set he was going to do… And as the plane hadn’t left the ground, why did it take so long for him to turn up.. – surely a man like Guetta should have access to other aircraft pretty quickly – I mean they do exist if not at that airstrip but one nearby.. Why would you be running your schedule so fine that a minor incident is going to cause you to be late at the disappointment of thousands of your fans. Well, turns out the Tiesto set was legendary to those who gave up waiting for you. He kept Creamfields alive and he was on time. All sympathy for your minor incident Mr Guetta but fortunately it was minor and maybe you should make more of an effort to schedule in your fans to your busy life? – just a thought. #creamfields
