Hardstyle? Hmm kind of… Trap? hmm. Yeah kind of that too..” While my thoughts rambled through to figure out what this tracks genre was I came to a rather simple conclusion: it really doesn’t matter. Cratesz does what he does best and creates some of the most dance/jump with your hands up enticing music out there, and I have a sneaking suspicion he’s only getting started. While he’s only 1/2 of New & Used ( whom have gotten picked up on Spinnin’ recs and collaborated with Carnage) Cratesz has managed to channel his inner Trap Lord and release track upon track on trap tunes with a Hardstyle bass kick while remaining incredibly fresh and his most recent remix is no different. Bringing his hard to the core talents to Yellow Claw & The Opposites’ track, “Thunder”, Cratesz proves, musically, that he’s a force to be reckoned with.
