Steve Aoki & Linkin Park – A Light That Never Comes [Unreleased] (Live Performance)

Linkin Park & Steve Aoki - A Light That Never Comes1 - Your EDM

Growing up before I even had the slightest clue about EDM, but still being a music fanatic, it was all about Rock, Hip-Hop and Rap. I remember the first CD I ever bought was Linkin Park’s first studio album, Hybrid Theory. And I literally remember playing that record so frequently on my 5-disk CD player (yeah, remember those), I wrote on a sticky note, “Linkin Park’s CD in disk 1, do not remove” which I left on the face of the CD player for anyone that wanted to use it.

Anyway, enough ramble on childhood stories, Linkin Park has always been one of those bands that has adapted their style to the newest music releases while maintaining their own personal style; which in turn is why they have lasted through the ages and well into the 21st century.

This summer in Japan at the Summer Sonic FestivalSteve Aoki was performing a DJ set when the music cuts and Aoki invites Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda, the two main faces of Linkin Park, to premier the trios track, “A Light That Never Comes“. The three teamed up to put Aoki’s EDM influences together with unmistakable vocals from the two frontmen of Linkin Park to make an incredible dance banger. There is no news as to when the track will be officially released; but until then you can enjoy the live performance from Summer Sonic Festival in Japan below!
