Size Records released its 100th Original Mix today, a special mark for all record labels. The track titled, SLVR comes from Size Records founder and owner Steve Angello, who partnered with Russian brothers, Matisse & Sadko. A wildly popular track, SLVR, first debuted in Angello’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix this past March. The track received a ton of plays throughout the festival season, even reaching the number one DMC Buzz Spot. The track carries a “larger than life” feeling throughout. Hefty drum kicks and intense synths will leave some reminiscent of the SHM days.
Acting as more than just the 100th release, this track also represents the 10 year anniversary for Size, thus a celebration for all inner programs and projects, notably the Size Foundation, “It’s aim is to empower children and youth through education so they can create better lives, fulfill their dreams and have a positive impact on their communities“. Ultimately, a massive congratulations to Size, Matisse & Sadko, and Angello, for reaching a significant milestone, and celebrating with a gigantic track.
