Ultra Music Festival has announced a 5 part payment plan for their outrageously priced $500 (after fees) tickets, a price that left many fans angered. With this payment plan, fans will have the option to pay in 5 installments of $98.85 instead of shelling out $500 all at once. In 2014, Ultra Music Festival promises “a new level” and “a new experience”, for the price they are charging for tickets it better be. All that being said there is no denying that, despite being insanely expensive, Ultra Music Festival is one of the premiere electronic music festivals in the country. If you have the $500 to shell out and are set on heading to UMF in March you can head over to the ticket site HERE.
I mean…looks like a savings of $5.75. WHY NOT?
The ironic thing, is I would rather go to an event with 5,000 people rather than 500,000…I love festivals, but I love the personal feel of smaller events…Half the people that go to Ultra, EDC and Tomorrowland have no idea what the fuck they are listening too, they just want the people who follow them on instagram to think they are “Cultured”…what a bunch of bullshit.
People with an average job make 250 a week means this should be no problem.. if u dont have the money stfu and dont go easy as that
They do something to make it easier on people and everyone still complains.
$500 is still fucking ridiculous when you can get an experience 10 times as great from and Insomniac Event. How the hell do you go to a festival and listen to the exact same music the entire time? $500 for a single genre and 3 days? Yea no thanks. I can pay less than $300 for Electric Forest and have a much better time there and camp too. Much better vibes and a better time.
This is the shit that I’m talking about. I can’t wait for that “EDM” bubble to burst and explode…I continue to lose respect for this part of the culture. It has become all about the $ and less about the music. Most of those djs will be playing whatever is on the top-20 on beatport (the walmart of dance music) during that weekend… Garbage!
70$ forEDC Puerto Rico. Can’t compare with the magnitude of ultra but two days of non stop dance music with some of the best underground or lesser known acts like Paco Osuna, Art department and congorock. Plus some stuff for the mainstreamers like Borgore, Knife Party and Steve Angello
I don’t get the thing that they´re trying to help you to get there easier and still everybody complaints… Don’t forget that’s not easy or cheap to put up those festivals… if you don’t want to go, stop complaining and make bad comments…
