TJR’s controversial collaboration with Pitbull titled “Don’t Stop the Party” has now sold 3 million copies worldwide, making it triple platinum certified. I do use the term “collaboration” lightly as the single was basically TJR’s track Funky Vodka with Pitbull doing his vocal thing (not sure if it is rapping or just talking into a microphone) over the top. Regardless, it is an impressive feat and worth congratulating TJR as it was his music that made the single so successful. This is a milestone that is truly unheard of for an electronic artist to achieve.

LOL you can deny that Pitbull gave it the worldwide bump making it so popular, yes TJR did an amazing job on the track and when he played it in the club I do not recall hearing Pitbull on their, Thank goodness. But reality is, anything with pitbull on it will get quite the amount of listens, just glad it helped push TJR into the limelight, may he go forth and do many more great tracks.
TJR is the man and has been for years! Bigger things are up ahead for him!
Absolutely love TJR’s track, except even TJR’s version is based on a sample from “Toots & the Maytals”.
