Skrillex Ranked as One of the ’50 Greatest Live Acts Right Now’

youredm skrillex

Sonny Moore, better known as OWSLA label owner and producer Skrillex, was just ranked as the 42nd best live act right now. Coming in before Lady Gaga, Green Day and Taylor Swift, the LA based artist is one of very few electronic influenced artist present on that list. Aside from Sigur Ros (#47) and Nine Inch Nails (#17), the list is mainly comprised of Indie Rock and Pop Rock artists such as Madonna and Mumford & Sons. If anyone was curious, this is what Rolling Stone used as a requirement for artists to be eligible for this list:

“To be eligible for the list, a performer must have toured within the last five years and not announced their retirement.”

And before people start criticizing Rolling Stone for their ranking, the choice was not theirs but rather done by other artists, writers, agents and influencers in the industry.
