Mat Zo must be down with O.P.P. because Chuck D just jumped onto the soon to be released Pyramid Scheme. Mat Zo has apparently been working on this track for over two years and even sampled some Public Enemy over the beat in some of his previous sets. When Chuck D caught wind, he said to hell with sampling and decided to record for the track specifically, which is a huge win for Mat Zo and all hip hop fans. If you’re surprised by Chuck D‘s move, don’t be. After all, it was just two years ago he and Meat Loaf teamed up together on a track (can’t make that stuff up ladies and gentlemen). Pyramid Scheme is a solid track with some edge and a funky bass line to give it a little kick that Public Enemy deserves.
