The title just about says it all, “Back to Funk” is the newest release from Bass Kleph, now out on Great Stuff. A hearty use of horns, white noise and small vocal samples make up this new track from the Australian-turned-American producer. This track is perfect for the island of Ibiza, or any summery beachfront vista, for that matter. The rhythm assembled by Bass Kleph is sure to get hips swinging on the dance floor, but if something more traditional is your style, see the Rober Gaez remix. One of the three maestros behind “This is True House” from the tail-end of 2012, he moves the focus to the percussion end rather than the horn section.
