Bouncing back from their recent success with Liceu, Swedish DJs Marcus Schossow and Sebjak have teamed up again to produce Kemi, which has been released on Spinnin’ Records.
After ascending the Beatport charts and attracting a large following of fans, the pair had a big order to fill thanks to the precedent they alone set. The track is nothing more than you would expect from the up and coming Swedes. By revisiting the 1990 classic The Anthem by N-Joi, the duo sample the uplifting female vocal and apply the usual 21st Century twist. The climactic drops combined with melodic synths (which sound like they’ve come straight out of a Chemical Brothers record), tick all the right boxes for the usual euphoric stadium banger.
Kemi highlights an exciting time for Sebjak and Marcus, with several festival performances across the season and support from the likes of Danny Howard and Tiesto. After the success of their last release, Kemi should not disappoint the fans.
