Creamfields Announces Largest Stage Production in UK History

Creamfields2012-youredm

Close to selling out for the 5th year running, Creamfields Music Festival has recently announced an impressive 3x stage size increase from 2012 and plans for the biggest stage production in UK history.

The new stage will measure 60 meters wide and 18 meters high, featuring 7 LED screens to provide amazing visuals for concert-goers. Meanwhile, six FX towers located along the sides of the crowd will use lasers, pyrotechnics, and other special effects aimed at creating a “360 degree production experience.” To get an idea of the scale of these pyrotechnic packages, one includes something called the “Hurricane,” which boasts the largest flame system range in Europe.

For those cold-inclined patrons, the FX towers will also include “ice cannons” that spray 20 meters of nitrogen to impart a cool mist over the sweaty crowd. From both the stage and FX towers, laser displays and confetti cannons will complete the bombardment of sensory overload and ensure a crazy festival experience.

Creamfields 2013 features a massive lineup of EDM performers including Tiesto, Above & Beyond, A-Trak, Feed Me, and Skream. The festival will be held Friday August 23rd through Sunday August 25th in Daresbury. Check out the official production trailer below.
