There are a few house records that define this genre of music, historically speaking. “Jack Your Body” from Steve “Silk” Hurley is the first ever house track to top the UK charts, way back when in 1987- and it was done with no promotion whatsoever. It also reached the Top 40 of the US Club charts at the time. Fast forward to 2013, and Toolroom is working with the original Chicago label S&S, to release a remix of “Jack Your Body” by Doorly. This remix was dropped by Claude VonStroke in his Ultra set this year, and is now finally available for the general public at the end of July.
