Those of you familiar with Datsik‘s past work should be well aware that hip-hop has always been one of his biggest influences when it came to making beats; however, I bet you never expected him to rap over one of his dubstep tracks and neither did he. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Datsik admits he was nervous about doing vocals since he had never done them for one of his songs before, but he has been pleasantly surprised with the response it has gotten so far. I don’t think this will lead into the “rap game” but I think its all about switching up his style, music now is rapidly changing and evolving every day and to see him changing with it means that he’s keeping it new and is going to be doing this for a long time to come.
This song is super dope. just sounds like hes doing what he loves. not trying to stay to a specific style. I say its one of my fav tunes by him for sure.
