Two of some of the most underrated Trance producers in the scene have joined forces to deliver a powerfully euphoric collaboration that has not only boosted both of the talents of these three fine individuals, but has also proved to be a very big step in their budding careers. The Blizzard is a Norwegian Trance duo whose productions give a Progressive take on the sounds of Andy Moor and their technical skills are some of the best in the scene today. They have had the pleasure of working with upcoming talents such as Omnia and Yuri Kane and have had great success with deep singles such as Piercing The Fog and Iselilja. Daniel Van Sand is a producer that I personally discovered way back in 2010 and his innovative bootlegs have definitely made him into a sleeper producer that has finally gained his break, (personal favorite tune is his remix to the classic track, Children by Robert Miles). Made For You featured the lovely vocals of Julie Thompson, who has also worked with artists such as Tiesto, Super8 & Tab, Signalrunners and more. While the Original is a fantastic work that is club certified to play in any Progressive Trance set, the remixes really steal the show and elevate the track towards something truly magnificent.

First up on remix duties is the Israel Trance wonder, Gal Abutbal. We first covered him during Timur Shafiev‘s brilliant single, Connecting Parts, and Gal has been making swift moves throughout his career ever since. His productions are unusual because even though he is known for his brilliant melodies, he is also equally as notorious for his deep, Progressive sound; being featured on Above & Beyond‘s Group Therapy Radio and Myon & Shane54‘s International Departures. His rendition is a deep, yet driving track that runs on mesmerizing chords and wistful synth lines. He starts with a bang with full on drive, composed of rushing percussion, brutal cowbell synths, subtle acid lines and a pulsing bassline. The breakdown brings some relaxing guitars and piano as it transitions into an indie song of sorts, giving weight to the superfluous vocals that follow. A phenomenally gorgeous Flamenco guitar comes out of nowhere with its improvised melodies and is quite a wonderful surprise that changes the entire tone of the remix. The drop is dreamy and wondrous, with fluttering synths and breathy vocals that work in tandem with the Flamenco guitar that creates a charming, illustrious vibe throughout the entire soundscape.

On the flipside to Abutbal‘s playful and Spanish influenced remix is a beautiful Uplifting version by fast rising Trance producer, Gelardi. He was first covered here at Your EDM as a feature on Unsung Heroes with his brilliant remix to Ultimate‘s single, One Way To A Better World and since then, he has only been excelling in his craft. Enjoying his successes with his collaborating ‘Pure Remix’ with Kenneth Cruz on Morvan‘s When We Fly and his single of Coming Alive (which received support from Aly & Fila), his interpretation is a illuminating plethora of emotional overtones that shines a certain brilliance towards the purer sides of Trance. He begins with pounding basskicks and luxurious synths underneath the beautiful vocals of Julie Thompson. The breakdown features the vocals as the expansive atmosphere extends towards the far reaches of space. A lonely expression emerges as repeating bass kicks bring the energy to a high point. The result is a masterful melody that has plenty of emotional strength, yet crafts itself in the beauty and wonder of its harmonies. It’s emphasis on Pure Trance is clearly evident with its simple melodies and it creates such a glimmering adhesion that just balances everything in perfect harmony.
