“Oh Shit… Squid Attack!” Despite the slightly humorous lyrics of Genetix’s track, there’s nothing hilarious about the rawness of Squid Attack. Featuring some of the hardest hitting kicks and synths I’ve heard this month, both Bassline Business and the FuntCase remix of Squid Attack are heavy hitters and should be added to your inventory immediately. I saw Funtcase at Resolution in Seattle and I wasn’t expecting much from him until he blew the roof off of the WaMu Theater. He knows how to start a year off right. Now, I’m a huge fan of him.
