Daft Punk to Help You Get Lucky

The French duo, Daft Punk, are coming out with new marketing strategies in the wake of their release of Random Access Memories. Their newest ploy is their own brand of condoms in collaboration with Durex. Based off of  Daft Punk’s biggest single ever, “Get Lucky” (featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers), is the fifth largest selling dance/electronic song of the year, with 1.62 million dollars in sales. Currently, our favorite French duo is  only distributing the condoms to other DJs right now, purely from a promotional standpoint. One of the first DJs to receive the condoms, was Diplo. Later Diplo posted on Instagram a picture of the condom wrapper with the caption entitled, “Thank god I had those Daft Punk condoms last night.” There is no official release for the condoms yet, but keep your eyes open in case you want to  Get Lucky.
