We’re nearing the release of Kaskade’s highly anticipated album, Atmosphere, and the anxiety is killing us. However, he just dropped a new remix of Lana Del Rey’s superb single off the Gatsby soundtrack, “Young & Beautiful”. He captures the serene ambiance of the original while incorporating a thundering progressive/electro drop. Yet, it lacks the excitement to captivate you for the entire six minutes. Each verse offers just enough to back Lana’s beautiful voice, but it never takes that risk to morph this fascinating single into a euphoric, summertime anthem. Lana Del Rey’s voice alone turns any song into gold, but I hoped to see Kaskade turn this into his own rather than something predictable and safe. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
