For all the ‘Fulton Fanatics’ who enjoy getting weird with the young talent, his latest remix continues to demonstrate his musical prowess. A remix of the Australian group Atlas Genius’s, Symptoms, brings an indie rock track to the dance floor and more likely than not to your summer playlist. After remixing The Killers track, Runaway, it is clear that Mr. Fulton enjoys recreating music that he find aesthetically pleasing. Separating himself from those trying to follow the hypothetical form that creates “chart toppers”. And quite frankly, we like it that way.
The remix highlights the original musicianship from Atlas Genius while the gentle adaptations evoke the style unique to Pierce. The progressive house aspect of the track wraps itself around the sensuous guitar melody and moving vocals, rather than drawing a drastic line between the original, and portions remixed.
