Today, Martin Garrix has made history with his unavoidable and huge track, Animals. Animals has just hit #1 on the overall Beatport chart making the 17 year old the youngest producer to ever hold that position. This is a tremendous feat in itself but it should also be noted that Animals skyrocketed to that position in just one week. All eyes are now on the young producer to see how he follows Animals. In the meantime you will likely not be able to set foot on a festival’s grounds this summer without hearing the now historical track.

Without taking away from his accomplishment, The Beatport top 10 sometimes contains tracks that really shouldn’t belong there. Congrats to the kid though.
With all the love and respect I have Martin, I feel that the track sounds a lot like LRAD.
And I thought Porter Robinson had the #1 spot with one of the tracks off his “Spitfire” album when he was the same age?
Porter was 19 2 years ago
this song is 1000 times better than anything porter robinson has ever created so it doesnt matter
A lot of songs with a similar emerged style from different producers recently. Sounds similar to LRAD? Yeah but they are also both very unique, martin, knife party, ummet ozcan, hard rock sofa…..etc it’s a trend.
Nate Connoisseur Serviss how dare you 😮
it has no resemblance to LRAD at all except the huge kick that both songs have…
Since many time , all drops track sounds like that ! Since EPIC for me …
And it’s not Animals sounds like LRAD but the contrary 😉 Knife Party never did this kind of track before
No track link? how inconvenient lol.

I already knew it was going to be EDC’s anthem the first day this song leaked.
Here’s an actual LINK to the track!

Not a very original song.. a bit like LRAD by Knife Party and the snare thing in the drop is kind of Nicky Romero. Martin is an okey producer, but I have heard this before and I want something new. :/
The warriors theme song lol
Is every track of this style a copy of LRAD to everyone?
No, progressive and big room style has been around for a while
