Swedish prodigy and EDM super star Avicii recently took to BBC Radio 1 to premiere the first single from his upcoming album, #TRUE. The single titled, “Wake Me Up”, flirts with many of the sounds and styles Bergling showcased in his rather controversial Ultra set this past March. Drawing from a myriad of influences and sounds, most notably, country music, #TRUE is meant to highlight sounds that are true to Avicii himself as an artist and a brand. The album is set to be co-released on PRMD Music and Island Records on September 17th, 2013 and if you haven’t already make sure to stream Avicii‘s latest record “Wake Me Up”.
