Even with the recent hiccup of Disclosure being highlighted for faking their last live performance at Summertime Ball, the duo have expertly retained their status as one of the most sought after and championed acts in the industry. With the release of their debut album, “Settle”, it seems Harley Streten, better known by his moniker Flume, has taken the liberty to remix the duo’s record, “You & Me”. Stripping down the original’s house flavor, Flume injects heaps of airy bass, expertly positioned breaks and orchestral melodies to create a remix that feels more like an original production than just another rework of the record. This remix truly is something special and in my opinion raises the question whether the world should actually be praising the young Aussie’s talent more than that of his British counterparts.
