Protohype – Hear No Evil EP [Firepower Records]

P_YourEDM

Just months ago, Protohype debuted on Firepower Records with the release of his ‘See No Evil’ EP, the first of three releases to be featured on the imprint. After weeks of anticipation, the second installment, ‘Hear No Evil’ is finally here and I couldn’t be more pleased.

From the first time I heard his record “Hold Your Breath”, I have been increasingly impressed by Protohype‘s uncanny ability to craft melodic soundscapes that simultaneously remain heavy and in many cases unrelenting. ‘Hear No Evil’, which is compromised of four original tracks, is the epitome of what differentiates Protohype from just another bass music producer.I generally highlight a standout track of the EP but in the case of ‘Hear No Evil’ this simply isn’t necessary. There are facets of every track that showcase this producer’s brilliance and I am confident saying that this EP showcases some of Protohype‘s best work to date.

Stream the EP below and make sure to support this growing artist – after one listen it will be blatantly clear that he whole-heartedly deserves it. Enjoy.
