If you know electronic music you have more than likely heard of the Ibiza club, Pacha. Pacha is one of the most storied clubs in the world and is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The club started in 1973 when two brothers, Ricardo and Piti Urgell, turned an old farm house on the outskirts of town into a venue. At first people didn’t expect it to last long but it soon became a haven for the hippie movement. Throughout the club’s early years Pacha was targeted by the police for insignificant reasons. At one point the police even seized the club’s records.
In the beginning, Pacha’s capacity was around 750 people. It has since grown to a capacity of 3000 boasting 5 rooms. It has also spread outside of Spain, establishing the Pacha brand Brazil, United States, Russia, Germany, England, Egypt and Portugal 
To celebrate 40 years, Pacha is releasing an album compiling all the biggest club tracks from 1973 to 2013. You can scroll to the bottom to check out the track list. Also, we have been lucky enough to receive pictures of Pacha over the years, and are very excited to share them with you.

As I mentioned earlier, Pacha will be releasing an album commemorating their 40 years. This 77 track, 4 CD compilation takes us through Pacha Ibiza’s musical timeline. From Donna Summer, Inner Life and Sister Sledge to deadmau5, Kaskade and The Swedish House Mafia, this album really does cover all the bases.
