Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 just uploaded a very different preview of his upcoming collaboration with Kill The Noise on his Soundcloud. Simply entitled Kill The Mau5, the preview showcases Deadmau5‘s unconventional, genre defining style and composition, with near symphonic melody and use of a gorgeous string arrangement. KTN‘s signature growls and glitchy basses blend with Joel’s beautiful arrangement to create an awesome ~128BPM breakbeat ambience.
This track has potential to be a game-changer and is unlike much of what we are used to hearing with recent EDM trends. I personally am very excited to see where this track goes and how the collaborative effort between to dissimilar artists will pan out. This is a must not miss piece so be sure to check it out below.

OMGOMGOMG…DEADMAU5 & KILL THE NOISE… 😀 Two of my absolute favoriteee EDM producers…collaborating. I can’t wait to hear the finished product. And I never would’ve seen this coming…but I’m pumped, and it’s realll 😀 <333.
Somehow a bit crazy how deadmau5 always says that he don’t like Dubstep and even said in an interview once that he don’t likes collaborations but still does a track with Kill the Noise^^.

I’m quite dissapointed in him. Makin’ collaboration track like this. He always says that he don’t like dubstep and despite that, he make track like this. -1 point for Deadmau5.

Deadmau5 doesn’t like new dubstep, this is orginal dubstep without a heavy drop!

Dubstep?… lol.. Uhm not even. Glitchstep MAYBE. This is a whole new thing for EDM and people with disappointing attitudes need not apply. If your a deadmau5 fan, you’d respect that he’s trying something new. And please learn yoour EDM before trying to label the sub-genres.
I pretty sure that Deadmau5 said that he didn’t like the newer Dubstep that’s so popular now, otherwise I don’t think that he would have produced “Raise Your Weapons” or “One Trick Pony” which are older-styled Dubstep Tracks. I enjoy the new track and would love to hear it in full, cause as much as I love Deadmau5, his stuff can get a little boring after listening to him for a while.
