Following-up on an already mouth-watering initial line-up announcement last month, Chicago‘s only beachfront electronic music festival added a whole new batch of talent on Wednesday. Fresh to the festival this year is the brand new ‘HOUSE COMES HOME: Chicago Heritage of House Stage‘. Long-term fans will welcome the return of Chicago House legends like Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter, and Mark Farina, while newer fans will get a lesson in how this city transformed the genre and enabled its evolution into what we know as House Music today.
Wavefront promises to delight every electronic music fan by offering an eclectic mix of styles, promising everything from seasoned veterans like Fatboy Slim to rising stars like Vicetone. Some personal favorites we’re especially excited for include Jacques Lu Cont, Holy Ghost!, and Fehrplay.
