33 High School students were suspended today due to the production of the above video. The students were using the popular “Express Yourself” dance move which resulted in all of the participants suspension.
The seniors in the group are facing the risk of losing both prom and graduation. “I just think it’s not that big of a deal,” one parent reported. “It was just expression — maybe overly expressive I guess.”

Students have taken to social media outlets to vent their anger. Hashtags such as #freethetwerkteam and #expelyourself are popular trends for those outraged by the suspensions.
