Porter Robinson’s Language Goes Gold In Australia

A single that has completely catapulted Porter Robinson‘s career to astounding new heights, Language has been an unofficial anthem of 2012, even spilling over into 2013. And now, Porter‘s hard work has paid off. First spilled by EDM Snob on Twitter, Australia has presented him with a Gold Record for the individual sales of Language as a single on the Ministry Of Sound label. The Australian Recording Industry Association, (which is the official musical charting association of Australia), dictates that a single has to sell more than 35,000 units in order for the record to go gold. While the single has completely blown up around the world, (particularly here in America), it is rare for an EDM single to reach Gold status in Australia and this is a great accolade for Mr. Robinson to receive. We here at Your EDM congratulate Porter on his Gold Record award and we hope that we can see more awards such as this in the future!
