It seems everyone wants a piece of the electronic music pie these days. The latest big name to take a shot at an EDM sound is Paul McCartney of the Beatles. Mark Ronson, who produced 3 tracks on McCartney’s upcoming album said that Paul asked him about creating a moombahton sound:
He came in one day playing some post-Bonde do Role baile funk-moombahton thing, asking, ‘How do we get this kind of energy?
He has, in the past, dabbled in electronica but never moombahton. There is no doubt that McCartney is one of the musical geniuses of the last century and it will be interesting to see how one of the pop music revolutionaries takes on the moombahton sound.
