Nari & Milani vs Gubellini (feat. Nicci) – Vago [Spinnin’ Records]

Nari & Milani, the electronic duo reigning from Italy and best known for their huge 2012 hit, “Atom”, is back with their latest release, “Vago“, just released today on Spinnin’ Records. According to their website, Nari & Milani first met in 1996 and started DJ’ing / producing together from there on. With years of experience behind their belt, the duo has strongly established their sound, paving the way for their thrilling style of tracks that has helped them rise up in the electronic music game over the years.

I’ve been waiting for what seems like years for the duo to finally release “Vago”, their hardest hitting track since “Atom” was released last year. As expected from these veteran producers, the tune is filled with a high-energy drum line and a vicious break down. One thing that quickly stood out to me though was how similar “Vago” sounded to “Atom”. While it’s one thing to stick to your sound as a producer, too many elements of both tracks sounded identical to each other, which was the only thing about this track I didn’t really enjoy. Check out “Vago” for yourself, out on Beatport via Spinnin Records!
