After the culmination of their One Last Tour, the disbandment of Swedish House Mafia is now official. When the news of their disbandment was released months ago, the artists prefaced that they all had interest to pursue their individual careers and endeavors and it seems that Steve Angello has wasted no time doing just that.
Earlier today Angello, the founder of SIZE Records, released a glimpse of the first material set to release under his newly developed sister label known as X. As the entire scene of electronic music continues to grow at a breakneck pace, X seeks to showcase new talent that continually push the envelope with their ingenuity and sound. The first signee, Trent Cantrelle, contributes a short and sweet two song EP titled: Nice & Close. As of now, listeners can indulge in two snippets of both tracks featured on the forthcoming release, Nice & Close and Understand. Nice & Close is set to release on May 6th so until then it seems we all will have to keep these previews on repeat until their official release to satisfy our tech-house needs. Enjoy!
