“Who is Phuture Doom?”
Despite being completely shrouded in secrecy amidst a significant social following, Phuture Doom has managed to become a shadow in the light and bring some of the most interesting sounds from the dark side of EDM. If the name sounds familiar it would be because they remixed Birdy Nam Nam’s – Defiant Order and it was quite the remix… While Acid House and Techno can be heard slightly, Phuture Doom manages to keep their sound incredibly unique. The remix of Dynamo’s City – One Night in Hackney comes as a complete surprise because there wasn’t much of a social media push for this track. Even the guys at OWSLA didn’t say/write/tweet/post anything; But that’s besides the point, bringing out the darker sounds of music, Phuture Doom re-works the track into an Acid House banger with quite a bit of long intro, but I don’t care, I absolutely love all 7 minutes of the track.
