Laidback Luke has always had an ear for what sounds good, which in turn has propelled his label Mixmash Records to one of the most respected in the community since its launch in 2004. Now, he is shaking things up a bit with the launch of his new Ones To Watch subdivision of Mixmash. Ones To Watch will give upcoming producers a chance to get their tracks released on an influential label without having to worry about competing with big name artists. This is a great chance for underground talents to break into the scene, especially with the successes that Mad Decent / Jeffree’s have had with their similar endeavor. Here’s what Luke had to say about the new label:
“We’ve got so many amazing tracks by a lot of new and incredible talent that’s out there. OTW offers a stepping stone to Mixmash for those talented producers out there. My focus for Mixmash, and now OTW as well is to have a proper platform for them. We started with OTW to make way for new and upcoming artists and to give them the push they need to accelerate. With OTW we can focus on each individual release and offer each artist a great start of their career.” 
The first release on the label comes from Mixmash familiar duo Blasterjaxx with their Koala EP. Check out the inaugural release below and look for more releases from OTW in the near future:
