Ontario-based producer OVERWERK is coming back strong after the release of his After Hours album last November. It’s been a few months since we’ve seen a new track from him, and he offered this explanation on his Facebook page:
“Hey everyone! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, so I thought I’d give you all a little update. – Since the release of AFTER HOURS, I’ve taken some time to practice my craft in fields other than music. I’ve been working with film, design, motion graphics; all with the plan to make OVERWERK an experience beyond just audio. Many big things are happening behind the scenes, and things are definitely not slowing down. You can all expect MANY more OVERWERK shows, and new tracks in the near future :)” 
His latest offering, 12:30, is an incredible electro tune that shows he is still growing and maturing as a producer. Based around a choice ABBA sample, the funky, glitchy electro of 12:30 is undeniably awesome and could serve as a secret weapon for DJs looking to spice things up a bit.
