Global Dance Festival 2013 set to take place July 19th-21st at Red Rocks Amphitheater has just revealed its first wave lineup. Although this is just the first of several announcements, the initial lineup fails to impress. House fans it seems have been left out in the cold with only appearances by Arty, Sander van Doorn, and Savoy to be looked forward to. It appears that the first day of the festival will be given to more mellow less dance inspired electric acts such as Eoto and Beats Antique, while the third day will be given to bass heads with Mimosa, Griz, and Grammatik. Although I am personally disappointed by this early lineup, GDF has always been a favorite festival of mine and I’ll be keeping an open mind to whether I’ll be dishing out money for tickets when they go on sale this Friday, March 22nd. You can check out the full announcement below!
Friday, July 19th: Beats Antique, Eoto, Emancipator, Ott, Zoogma
Saturday, July 20th: Savoy, Sander Van Doorn, Arty, Emma Hewitt, Ecotek
Sunday, July 21st: Mimosa, Gramatik, Griz, Seven Lions, Kill Paris

I couldn’t agree more with this article. Disappointed with the early release of artists.
