Diplo and GTA. Two artists that I can confidently say are going to have a huge year, and have left me in shock after their latest genre-defying collaboration, “Boy Oh Boy”. Every new track I’m hearing from Diplo and GTA these days makes me dig their highly innovative sounds more and more.
This latest collaboration has electro, trap, and hip hop influences that blend together into a big room, electrifying track. “Boy Oh Boy” starts out with a funky moombahton beat and quickly leads into a thrilling electro breakdown, which is what caught my attention to this song in the first place. Not to mention a little later in the track Missy Elliot can be heard rapping over an funky trap beat! 
The way the different genres and tempos of this track perfectly came together reminded me of “Original Don“, the hardstyle-trap infused original from Diplo’s side project Major Lazer. Definitely give this one a listen, and if you like check out the free download below!
