One of the many events during this year’s SXSW showcase was an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime back-to-back set between legends deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin following a discussion panel between the two. Although reports say a large portion of the time was spent discussing technology, there were some statements made by both regarding the current state of the scene and a discussion on how the scene’s successes are also to blame for a lot of the problems.
We haven’t been able to track down a full recording of their set from after the panel, however we did find a video one user captured that shows the two delivering some minimal techno as promised.
