Afrojack surprised many of his fans and followers today with a release that wasn’t in his usual ballpark of house and electro music, but rather a trap tune! That’s right, only a few hours ago the big name EDM star gave out a free download of “Bangtrap”, a trapped out edit of his original song “Bangduck”.
I know I can’t be the only one who chuckled upon hearing that Afrojack took a shot at trap music, but WOW was I shocked to hear this powerful trap edit that he delivered to us this time around. This track still includes Afrojack’s signature house style consisting of big room synths and lasers, but has a whole new energetic vibe with the dirty bass and 808 snares pounding throughout the tune. 
I can only hope that other big name EDM producers continue to take shots at exploring the increasingly popular trap genre, just as Afrojack and others have been doing lately. Grab the free download of “Bangtrap” below!
