Ableton, the company who’s software is behind many of your favorite tracks and DJ sets, has just released the latest version in their Live software series – Ableton Live 9. The news first broke of a new version back in October via a video teaser released by the company, and since then a lucky few have gotten to test out the software during a beta program. Ableton claims that this version “greatly expand[s] the creative possibilities of the software.” There are a whole number of new features in the software, but some highlights include the ability to automate sessions, new sound banks, reworked studio effects, and new Harmony, Melody, and Drums to MIDI tools. Live Suite will set you back $749 USD / €599, while Standard runs $449 / €349, and intro runs $99 / €79.
