Simply uttering the words “Daft Punk” unleashes a wave of excitement, rumors, and trepidation. The most remarkable aspect of this duo, aside from their music, is their ability to market themselves with little to no effort. It comes as no surprise that aspiring artists would try to surf the wave of popularity stormed up by the French icons. With a group as elite as this, most remixes don’t live up to the originals – even if they would be considered alright by other standards. There are some artists, however, who have done the seemingly impossible and produced a remix that even the most diehard fans must tip their hat to. Our staff, after much deliberation, came up with what we think are the five best remixes of the legendary duo. Let us know whether or not you agree, and if not who else you think should have been included.
5. Daft Punk – Harder Better Faster Stronger (HLM Remix)
4. Daft Punk – Technologic (F.O.O.L Remix)
3. Daft Punk – Technologic (Go Go Bizkitt! Remix)
2. Daft Punk – Derezzed (The Glitch Mob Remix)
The Glitch Mob, known for their industrial, glitchy sound, were the perfect fit for remixing what could be considered the only adequate (in terms of the duo’s standard) release off the entire soundtrack. Focusing on the mechanical aspect of the original and pushing Derezzed to its fullest potential, The Glitch Mob utilize their trademarked off-tempo progression in tandem with Daft Punk’s original melody, to highlight the surrealistic thematic of the track.
1. Daft Punk – Human After All (SebAstian Remix)
Proclaimed as one of the best remixes by the duo themselves, the french producer SebastiAn took a darker approach on Daft Punk‘s original. Building on the already present vocals and guitar riff, SebastiAn introduced a heavier, more sombre rock infused dissonant theme. With the inclusion of elements such as the strident albeit fitting high pitched synth work at the 2 minute mark, SebastiAn proved himself to be one of those rare individuals who can truly understand, appreciate and develop upon the pre-existing masterful work of Daft Punk‘s Human After All.
my favorite is “One More Time (Mike Candys & Jack Holiday Remix)”
this is a great collection of remixes most unheard before. I would heavily recommend this one: http://soundcloud.com/theatre-of-delays/daft-punk-veridis-quo-theatre-of-delays-remix Theatre of Delays did an awesome remix there.

Daft Punk – The Prime Time Of Your Life (Para One Remix) inspired Daft Punk themselves to use the DIE DIE DIE part in the Alive 2007 Tour Encore. and Harder Better Faster Stronger Unoficial Deadmau5 remix is excellent.
